At North Eugene High School, students have opportunities to explore their interests, build real-world skills, strengthen language and cultural connections, and prepare for what comes next.
Our programs include language immersion, Career & Technical Education, International Baccalaureate pathways, and specialized programs that serve students across our community.
Spanish Immersion
North Eugene is proud to continue the Spanish Immersion pathway for students who have participated in the district's immersion program.
Students continue developing advanced Spanish language and literacy skills while building connections to culture, community, and their own multilingual identities.
Japanese Immersion
North Eugene is also home to a Japanese Immersion pathway.
Students continue developing their Japanese language skills at the high school level while deepening their understanding of Japanese culture, communication, and global perspectives.
ASL & Deaf/Hard of Hearing Hub
North Eugene serves as a hub for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and supports American Sign Language as an important part of our school community.
Our program helps create connection, access, communication, and a strong sense of belonging for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
Career & Technical Education
Career & Technical Education gives students the opportunity to learn by doing.
North's CTE programs combine academics with hands-on, career-connected learning. Students can explore areas of interest, build practical skills, and gain experience that supports college, training, and future careers.
International Baccalaureate
North Eugene offers multiple pathways through the International Baccalaureate program.
IB Diploma Programme
The IB Diploma Programme is a rigorous, internationally recognized academic program for students seeking a comprehensive college-preparatory experience.
IB Career-related Programme
The IB Career-related Programme combines IB coursework with career-related study, connecting strong academics with students' career interests.
Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy
The Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy recognizes graduating students who demonstrate proficiency in English and at least one additional language.
The Seal celebrates multilingualism as an academic, cultural, and professional strength. Students may qualify through immersion programs, language study, or languages learned and spoken at home.
