Upstart Crow Youth Theater
Greetings! We would like to share this information with drama, choir, and language arts teachers who would be willing to let their students know about theatre opportunities for middle and high school students happening this summer at Upstart Crow!
Upstart Crow Youth Theatre (UCYT) is proud to present Something Rotten JR as our summer stock musical! Registration is currently open for students entering grades 6-12 (as well as graduating seniors who will not have turned 19 by the end of July). Upstart Crow has an inclusive casting process - all registered students will be cast in this show! Sliding-scale tuition assistance available - apply online!
Upstart Crow is a busy, creative hub for kids and teens in the Downtown Eugene Whiteaker neighborhood. Our program offers theatre classes, summer camps, and inclusive casting in our fully produced and staged musical theatre productions.
Does your school have a Monday Mailer, Wednesday Folders, an email newsletter, or other ways you share opportunities of interest for your families? If so, would you be interested in sharing our handout with your school families in digital or hard-copy form? We'd be happy to drop off a stack of hard-copies if that's something in which you'd be interested. Just let us know how many you need and by what day you'd like them delivered. I've attached handouts for Something Rotten JR (GR 6-12), Pride Camp (GR 7-12), and our summer camp lineup for all ages.
Theatre is our name but “our game” is supporting youth - artistically, developmentally, socially, and emotionally in an inclusive environment where they are affirmed for their authentic selves. We like to say “Theatre is a team sport” and at UCYT, “every kid plays.”
If you have any questions or requests for information in another format, please let me know! Thank you for your time and interest.
