☀️🌉 SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM ☀️🌉

Learn about high school from the experts! Junior and senior students will be leading the Summer Bridge program and welcoming incoming 9th graders to high school with fun games and activities. They will be on hand and to ready to answer questions, share stories, and give advice about surviving and thriving in high school. By knowing what to expect, you’ll have a head start in high school!

What: Summer Bridge

Who: Students entering 9th grade in 2023–24

Dates: JULY 31 – AUGUST 4

Times: 8:30–11:30 a.m. OR 12:30–3:30 p.m.

Where: The high school you will attend in the fall. Eugene Online Academy students should register for their neighborhood school.

Free meals and bus passes provided.

At Summer Bridge, incoming 9th graders will:

  1. Find their way around their new school and know where their classrooms are.
  2. Discover important school resources and how to access them.
  3. Connect with old friends and make new ones.
  4. Learn the key ingredients of high school success from awesome Summer Bridge student leaders!

☀️🌉 PROGRAMA PUENTE DE VERANO ☀️🌉
¡Aprende sobre la escuela secundaria de los expertos! Los estudiantes de tercer y cuarto año dirigirán el programa Summer Bridge y darán la bienvenida a los estudiantes de noveno grado a la escuela secundaria con juegos y actividades divertidas. Estarán disponibles y listos para responder preguntas, compartir historias y dar consejos sobre cómo sobrevivir y prosperar en la escuela secundaria. ¡Al saber qué esperar, tendrás una ventaja inicial en la escuela secundaria!

Qué: Puente de verano
Quién: estudiantes que ingresan al noveno grado en 2023–24
Fechas: 31 DE JULIO – 4 DE AGOSTO
Horario: 8:30–11:30 a. m. O 12:30–3:30 p. m.
Dónde: La escuela secundaria a la que asistirás en el otoño. Los estudiantes de Eugene Online Academy deben inscribirse en la escuela de su vecindario.
Comidas gratis y pases de autobús proporcionados.

En Summer Bridge, los estudiantes de noveno grado que ingresan:

  1. Encontrar su camino alrededor de su nueva escuela y saber dónde están sus salones de clase.
  2. Descubra importantes recursos escolares y cómo acceder a ellos.
  3. Conéctate con viejos amigos y haz nuevos.
