Hello Highlander Families,
We hope everyone enjoys the long Memorial Day weekend ahead 💛 Please remember there is no school Monday in observance of the holiday.
Because somehow May always finds a way to speed up, next week is one of the busiest weeks of the entire year at North 😅
We’ve got:
🎓 Senior Projects
🏆 Senior Awards
🎶 Band Concert
💛 AVID Graduation
🏳️🌈 PRIDE Fest
📚 OSEA Book Fair
…all happening in ONE week.
“How do you do it all?” you ask.
Well… the district makes us 😂
But truthfully, these are also some of the best moments of the year — the celebrations, performances, milestones, and memories that students and staff have been working toward all year long. These final weeks are the culmination of so much hard work, growth, and community.
Be sure to check the calendar to stay on top of all the events, schedule changes, and celebrations happening around campus!

We wanted to share two community resources with our Highlander families:
🚓 The Eugene Police Department’s MyPDConnect system allows community members to report certain non-emergency concerns online, including theft, vandalism, fraud/scams, illegal camping concerns, and more. The system is mobile-friendly, available in multiple languages, and allows users to upload photos/videos and track reports.
🏡 The River Ave Navigation Center is also looking to connect with neighbors by gathering feedback, sharing updates and outcomes, and creating opportunities for community engagement. Families can scan the QR code on the flyer to submit anonymous feedback or learn more through their website and newsletter.
Please see the flyers below for additional details and contact information.
