Parent Drop-Off/Pick-Up Zones & NO-Parking in the Bike Lane
Dear Parents and Students,
We hope you're excited about our new school year! To ensure a safe and efficient drop-off and pick-up experience for everyone, please take note of the following procedures:
  • No Stopping at Entrances/Exits: Please refrain from stopping your vehicles at the entrances/exits. This is crucial to maintain a smooth flow of traffic and to prevent congestion.
  • Two-Way Traffic: Kindly make way for two-way traffic within the parking and drop-off zones. Staying in designated lanes will help prevent accidents and delays.
  • Student Parking: The parking lot to the left of the lot entrance is reserved for student parking. Parents, please use designated areas for drop-off and pick-up only which are located in the front of the school. See picture.

  • Bike Lane Respect: It's important to remember that the bike lane is NOT to be used for parking or stopping. This keeps our cyclists safe and ensures proper traffic flow.

Pre-ACT Testing Day coming on April 9

Dear 10th grade families,

On Thursday, April 9, your 10th grader will be taking the PreACT. This day is an early release day.

This test is provided, for free, by the Oregon Department of Education. It is an opportunity for all 10th graders in Oregon to take a college entrance practice test, helping us see that your child is on track for college and career readiness.

With the PreACT, you and your child can get useful information to help guide them to choose the right high school courses, think about ways to work on areas for improvement, and continue discussions about their college and career interests.

To learn more about the test, see the infographic, 6 Ways PreACT Helps You, or call your school office.

♻️ Electronics Recycling Competition Is On! ♻️
Our school is participating in the Lane County Electronics Recycling Competition, and we need your help! We’re collecting unused or unwanted electronics now through April 24 — no pickup weeks, just ongoing collection.

Accepted items include old laptops, cell phones, cords, monitors, keyboards, tablets, game consoles, and more. A collection bin is available on campus, and when it fills up, it will be swapped out so we can keep collecting.

You can also drop off electronics directly at NextStep Recycling (245 Jackson St.) — just be sure to tell them you’re supporting our school so we get credit.

Schools that collect the most e-waste can earn grants and prizes to support sustainability efforts. Thank you for helping us recycle responsibly and support our school!
