Happy Memorial Day, Highlanders,
We hope everyone enjoys a peaceful and restorative Memorial Day weekend as we take time to honor and remember those who served. It’s the final week of May — can you believe it?! Things are buzzing at North Eugene High School as we wrap up the month with field trips, performances, career presentations, and celebrations of identity and achievement. Remember, there’s no school on Monday, May 26th — a little breather before we dive into June. We’re almost there, Highlanders. Keep showing up, checking in, and reaching out. We’re here for you as we roll into the final stretch!
Go NORTH!

The North Eugene Unified Team has scheduled a Unified Kickball game against the University of Oregon's Unified Team on Tuesday, May 27th from 5:00-7:00 PM. This game will be held at North Eugene High School's softball field. It should be a fun, engaging evening full of teamwork and connection between our programs. The team will be having a Bake Sale fundraiser to fundraise for the program next year.
If any families are interested and willing to contribute to our bake sale, we would be very appreciated.

Are you sad because you only get to wear your cool cap and gown only once?
Are you feeling nostalgic?
Do you want to inspire future graduates with your awesome accomplishments?
On Thurs. June 5th we will continue our tradition with our Senior Stroll, day after the Award Ceremony, & you have received all your SWAG.
We would like you to wear your cap and gown.
We will load buses and head to Awbrey Park, Howard, Spring Creek, YG or River Road Elementary schools (you get to choose which one you would like to visit) to stroll through the halls, say hi to teachers and inspire the kids with your awesome accomplishments.
What You Need to Do……..
We are pleased to inform you that the OSAA has approved North Eugene High School's request to move our Moratorium Week to June 29th to July 5th (changed from the original July 27th-August 2nd). This change was made for various reasons that will benefit our overall program.
During our new Moratorium Week (June 29th-July 5th), coaches will have no contact with athletes as per OSAA regulations.
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we implement this schedule change. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
