Forecasting is coming up
The timeline for forecasting for classes for the 2025-2026 school year:
Advisory Feb 13. Students will receive the updated Curriculum Guide and review the classes they can visit during the elective fair to hear from teachers about the electives that will be offered next year. Advisory Feb 20. Elective Fair.
Advisory Feb 25. Students will begin selecting courses for 2025-2026. This is a great time to have discussions at home about the possibilities.
Advisory March 6. Students will enter their course selections into Synergy. Students have a week to enter their course selections into Synergy. This is a really important part of getting an accurate schedule for next year.
Make sure your student is in their advisory classes to get the most out of this forecasting time!

Before an athlete may practice:
- Athletes must have a current Sports Physical Form on file. Please attach both sides of the form to the athlete’s registration, or email it to Cesar Ocampo at ocampo@4j.lane.edu. If desired, you can schedule an appointment for a physical at either of the district’s two Health Centers located at North Eugene High School (541-790-4445) or Churchill High School (541-790-5227). Connected Lane County's paid internships through the Elevate program provides 11th and 12th graders with a 7-week internship at a local company to gain valuable hands-on experience in a field of their interest and the chance to build skills while earning money! Internship Dates: June 24 - August 7. Interns are paid $17 per hour! In addition to learning about the various departments, operations, products, and services of the company, you will collaborate with your industry host to complete 1-2 projects, fulfilling learning objectives that you outline. Are you seeking financial aid to help offset the cost of college? The Lane Community College Foundation Scholarship is open and the deadline is March 4th. There are scholarships for every background, major, etc! One easy application for hundreds of scholarships with over $1 million awarded every year to LCC students. The application does require several steps so we strongly encourate you to start NOW: applying for admission, setting up a Lane gmail account, and including unofficial transcripts. All the detailed instructions are listed here. And if you haven't already submitted your financial aid application, either the FAFSA or ORSAA, do so as soon as you can! February 20: Strategies for Managing ScreenTime Marian Stiegeler, a certified mental health provider & owner of Avodah Therapy Services, will lead a discussion on helping students manage their screen time and how to balance a healthy screen time with important peer interactions.
March 20: Internet Safety Brent Caulley, a youth & family director with a background in technology education, will share practical, proven tactics to help families maintain healthier digital habits and manage digital challenges.
