In our on-going efforts to provide a safe learning environment, NEHS will be making some adjustments to our locked/unlocked door policy starting next week (11/16/22).  As has always been the case, exterior perimeter doors will be locked during the school day.  What will change is that our front main doors will also remain locked during the school day, with the exceptions noted below.

• Front doors open and supervised from 8:00-8:30am
• Main office doors open and supervised during lunch period
• Main office doors open and supervised at school dismissal

*If students arrive at school outside of these times, they must ring the bell at the front doors and they will be let in by front office staff. 

We will continue to work with students regarding the importance of not letting others into the building through locked doors and ensuring everyone enters through the main office doors outside of the times listed above.  Please help us by reinforcing this message at home in conversations with your student.
