The North International High School curriculum is a four-year course of study and provides a rich academic experience.
Teachers offer rigorous and engaging lessons. As an International Baccalaureate school, NIHS provides an interdisciplinary, pre-collegiate academic program to all students. NIHS students are heterogeneously grouped, including special education students and English language learners.
All NIHS students complete a four-year integrated language arts and social studies core program. Mathematics, World Language, and Science courses complete the program. 9th and 10th grade courses are vertically articulated to prepare students for the IB curriculum in the 11th and 12th grades.
The four-year course of study is designed to prepare students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in post-secondary educational opportunities. Students also complete of Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) projects.
