Daily Student Announcements are usually posted between 1 pm and 4 pm. It’s a good idea for parents to check announcements to find out about opportunities for their student.

driverspermitlicenceAre you planning on getting your learner’s permit to drive over Winter Break? If so, you need a DMV Proof of Enrollment From from the Attendance Office. The Attendance Office will be closed over the break, so stop in to see Mrs. Tompkins and get your form before leaving school today.

All Seniors–The yearbook staff decided to drop prices for baby ads in the yearbook. Yes, this year, your folks can put a congratulations in the yearbook for as little as $30. See the yearbook website to download a flier to submit a baby ad or see Mr. Sherman in Room 302 after school. Deadline is Feb. 14th.

Attention all students; if you have a free period in term two, please stop in to the Attendance Office, Room 106, during your free period, lunch, or before or after school to get a free period sticker on your ID card from Mrs. Tompkins.

Last chance to order your yearbook at the discount price of $55 is Today. After the break yearbooks are $65 and you must order in the month of January to get a yearbook. We need photos of snowboarding, fishing, wrestling, swimming and fashion. If you have these photos for us, please find us in room 302 during 5th period or email Mr. Sherman. If you don’t know if you purchased a yearbook, there’s a list in the main hall by the Project Give status. If your name is on the list, then you ordered a yearbook.

Senior Portraits are due January 1st. Fliers are in the front office. Submit your senior photo on a CD or print to the front office. Only high-resolution photos will be accepted. See Mr. Sherman in Room 302 for a low-budget senior portrait. Order your yearbook.

Project Give
Due to our snow days, Project Give has been extended one day. Today is now the last day! Also, today will recieve DOUBLE POINTS! That’s right, today large cans are 10 points, small cans are 4 points, boxes are 6 points, and every $1 is 6 points.

Mrs. Kostechka & Mr. Thomas are still in first place however Mrs. Christianson is on her way to beating them out! It’s a very tight race for the pizza party! Check the scoreboard today at lunch to see the winner.

So far we have over 100 boxes filled and we have not even tackled all the food yet. We are approaching our goal of 150 boxes!!!

Stop Animal Abuse Club will meet today in the cafeteria today at 3:30.

The 4J ACTS application deadline has been moved to Wednesday, January 8, 2014. All seniors that have a 4J ACTS application packet should see Liz in room 209 to pick up an Education Plan form that must also be completed and turned in to Liz Rommel by Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

Yearbooks are $55 until Dec.20th. In the month of January, yearbook orders are $65–and please order one by the end of January because we won’t be ordering extras and we’d hate so see you miss out.
